ETA, the armed Basque separatist group is expected to announce a ceasefire.
It is unclear if this is a temporary or permanent ceasefire and the Spanish government have not made a comment but it is well known that Spanish government said it will only talk to ETA if it renounces violence and disarms.

Researchers from the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) have calculated
the energy and economic potential of urban solid waste, sludge from
water treatment plants and livestock slurry for generating electricity
in Spain. These residues are alternative sources of renewable energy,
which are more environmentally friendly and, in the case of solid urban
waste, more cost effective.
